Core Tattoo on KUSI News

JUNE 28, 2008 San Diego, CA – To honor America’s heroes and recognize the freedoms provided by our active military, Core Tattoo, San Diego’s only luxury and fully pneumatic tattoo studio providing the most sterile environment in a high-end, retail setting, joined the fundraising efforts of non-profit organization, First American Military, Inc. (FAM), by donating tattooing services and 100% of tattoo revenues reaching $2,600 on June 28, 2008 to Operation Never Forget, again demonstrating our commitment to being a one-of-a-kind tattoo business in San Diego. Operation Never Forget is a national fundraiser honoring the lives of special operations forces sacrificed in Afghanistan. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit the families of active and veteran military in purchasing a home. Giving back to the community and honoring America’s military members has always been a priority of Core Tattoo founder, Lee Sammartino, one he is now able to act upon by providing tattooing services, a long-standing cultural tradition of military men and women. Since San Diego is home to one of California’s most popular military and tattooed populations, Core is proud to offer weekly discounted services on military appreciation day since it opened in February 2008.

Operation Never Forget is a national fundraising effort led by First American Military, Inc. On June 28, 2008, people came together to honor the sacrifices that our military men and women have made.
