The fixtures used in this installation had never been contemplated in this type of scenario. I realized before the installation that the loading over the span times the height that the fixtures needed to elevate to could potentially fail unless another method of support and affixing was utilized conceptualized the horseshoe bracket and cross-member system to be welded and bolted to the elevator shaft framing enabling the Alu fixtures to be utilized in the manner intended by the designer.
