During my ownership of Core Tattoo Studio, Revolt in Style Magazine approached me about being a contributing writer for a column called “Ink Spot.” People have a serious misunderstanding about tattooing and and getting tattooed. It was this constant complaint by the artists that spawned the article “Tattooing 101,” which ironically enough, drew in a lot of business. People figured if I knew enough to write about it, we must be the shop to go to.
