True Crime Authors was a music recording project that my good friend and song writer extraordinaire, Michael McGraw, and myself put together in 2006 and 2007. Aimed at having a good time, recording, and playing some live shows, with Michael on the 6 string and me on the drums, we put together some tasty treats that parallels the styles of Radiohead, Pete Yorn, Snow Patrol, and Cold Play. Both Michael and I co-produced & co-engineered all of the songs below using a Protools Digi 002 Rack, PreSonus DigimaxLT Mic Pre, Sample tank, T-Racks Plugins, Shure and AKG mics, Tama Star Classic eFX drums, Gibson Les Paul and Hollow Body, Taylor acoustic guitar, and a Fender Strat . The final mixes that you hear below were engineered by yours truly:
